Privacy Policy for Noure: 75 Soft Girl Challenge

Last updated: 1 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Noure: 75 Soft Girl Challenge ("the App," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Your name (entered during onboarding, or provided via Sign in with Apple if you choose that option)

  • Your email address, only if you choose to sign in with Apple and elect to share it (Apple lets you hide your real email using their private relay — we only receive whatever Apple passes to us)

  • A profile photo, if you choose to add one

  • Photos you take or choose as "proof" for your daily challenge tasks, or as a background for a wallpaper you create in the App

  • A signature image, if you choose to sign your commitment during onboarding

  • A display name and an invite code, used to connect with friends

Information collected automatically:

  • A randomly generated, anonymous account identifier, created when you first use the friend features. This identifier is not tied to your name, email, or any government ID — it exists only to let the app's servers match friend requests to the right person.

  • Your country, derived from your iPhone's region setting (for example "ID" or "US"). This is a setting you choose on your device, not a location reading.

  • A random device identifier stored securely in your iPhone's Keychain. It is used only to enforce blocks and daily request limits, survives reinstalling the App, and is never shared with other users or third parties.

  • Basic subscription/purchase status (active plan, renewal date) — this comes from Apple and our payment processor (RevenueCat), not from data we collect ourselves.

Information we do NOT collect:

  • We do not collect your precise or approximate location. The App never requests location permission and never accesses GPS. The only location-related data is your country, taken from your device's region setting.

  • We do not collect your city, street, or coordinates.

  • We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics SDKs.

  • We do not access your contacts.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To run the App's core features: tracking your daily challenge progress, displaying your proof photos back to you, and showing your streaks and calendar history.

  • To operate the friend system: matching invite codes, sending and receiving friend requests, and showing confirmed friends' shared progress.

  • To operate the Friends Map: showing how many users are in each country, and listing users who have chosen to appear on the map.

  • To review reports and enforce blocks, so that users can remove abusive content and users from their experience.

  • To process and manage your subscription (via Apple's App Store and RevenueCat).

  • To send you notifications you've enabled (daily reminders) — these are scheduled on your device and do not require sending your data anywhere.

3. Where Your Data Is Stored

  • On your device: your challenge history, task completion records, proof photos, calendar data, and app settings are stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data unless you choose to share it with a confirmed friend.

  • On our servers (Supabase): your invite code, display name, profile photo, country code, map visibility choice, friend request status, blocks, and any reports you submit are stored on Supabase, a third-party database provider, so that these features can work between devices. Supabase acts as our data processor and is contractually restricted from using this data for its own purposes.

  • With Apple / RevenueCat: your subscription and purchase information is handled by Apple's App Store and RevenueCat, our subscription management provider. We do not see or store your payment card details.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers. We only share data with:

  • Confirmed friends within the App, limited to what the App is designed to show them (your day count, streak, and any proof photos you choose to keep visible).

  • Other users on the Friends Map, but only if you have chosen to appear there, and limited to your display name, profile photo, current day, streak, and country.

  • Service providers who help us run the App (Supabase for the friend system, RevenueCat and Apple for subscriptions), solely to provide those services.

  • Legal authorities, only if required by law.

5. Camera and Photo Library Access

The App requests access to your camera and photo library only when you choose to take or select a photo — for a task's proof, your profile picture, or a background image for a wallpaper you create in the App. These photos are stored locally on your device (or, if you choose to share them with a friend, made visible to that friend within the App). We do not access your camera or photo library in the background or without your action, and we do not collect your location — the App does not access or store your device's location at any time.

6. Friends Map and Visibility

The App includes a Friends Map that shows how many users are in each country. You are hidden from this map by default. You appear on it only after you choose "Join the map", and you can hide yourself again at any time in Profile > Privacy.

When you are visible on the map, other users can see your display name, profile photo, current challenge day, streak, and country. They cannot see your proof photos or daily progress unless you accept them as a friend. Your exact location is never collected, stored, or shown — only the country from your device's region setting.

7. Reports, Blocks, and Moderation

The App lets you report any user or shared photo, and block any user. When you submit a report, we store the reason, your optional note, and the accounts involved. We review every report within 24 hours and may remove content or terminate accounts that violate our Terms of Service. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.

Blocking a user removes the friendship, cancels pending requests, hides their content from you, and prevents them from contacting you again. You can see and undo your blocks in Profile > Blocked Users.

8. Notifications

The App can send you local reminder notifications (e.g., a morning reminder, an overdue-task reminder). These are scheduled entirely on your device based on settings you control, and can be turned off at any time in the App's Permission settings or your device's Settings.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Your Choices and Rights

  • Delete your account: the App's Profile > Delete Account option permanently erases your local data and requests deletion of your associated data from our servers (invite code, display name, country, friend connections, blocks, and reports).

  • Control your map visibility: turn "Show me on the Friends Map" on or off anytime in Profile > Privacy.

  • Control who can contact you: turn on "Only allow friend requests from signed-in users" in Profile > Privacy.

  • Manage notifications: adjust or disable reminders anytime in Profile > Permission.

  • Manage your subscription: view, change, or cancel your subscription anytime via your Apple ID account settings, or use the Restore Purchases option in the App.

  • Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data. Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.

11. Data Retention

Local data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Server-stored data is retained until you delete your account, after which it is removed from our active systems. Reports and block records may be retained longer where needed to prevent repeat abuse.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect your information, including database-level access controls (Row Level Security) that ensure only you can read or modify your own data. However, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the App or by updating the "Last updated" date above.
